Emailed Blackmail Attempt
Posted by Peter Bassill on 20/02/2019Over the past couple of weeks, we have literally received hundreds of attempted extortion / blackmail attempts. This is what we was received:Hi, your account is now hacked! Change your password right away! You might not know anything about me and you really are probably wondering for what reason you are receiving this particular e-mail, right? I am a hacker who cracked your email box and devices and gadgets some time ago. Don't attempt to get in touch with me or alternatively try to find me, it is impossible, because I directed you an email from YOUR own account that I've hacked. I set up malware software on the adult videos (porno) site and suppose that you have spent time on this site to have some fun (you realize what I really mean). When you have been watching films, your browser began functioning like a RDP (Remote Control) with a key logger which granted me authority to access your display and webcam. Then, my software gathered all information. You wrote pass-codes on the sites you visited, I sniffed them. Without a doubt, you could possibly change each of them, or already modified them. However it doesn't matter, my malware updates information every 5 minutes. And what did I do? I generated a reserve copy of the system. Of each file and contact lists. I have managed to create dual-screen record. The 1 part reveals the video that you were watching (you have a good preferences, ahah...), the second screen shows the video from your camera. What do you have to do? Clearly, I believe, 1000 USD will be a realistic price for our little riddle. You will make your deposit by bitcoins (if you do not understand this, go searching “how to purchase bitcoin” in Google). My bitcoin wallet address: 169pAUDXa9VbbcrExzUThESrMnfWRL6BAh (It is cAsE sensitive, so just copy and paste it). Attention: You have 2 days to make the payment. (I put an unique pixel in this email, and right now I know that you've read through this email). To trace the reading of a message and the activity inside it, I installed a Facebook pixel. Thanks to them. (Everything that is applied for the authorities may also help us.) If I do not get bitcoins, I shall certainly offer your video to each of your contacts, along with relatives, colleagues, etc?I know a lot of people out there have been receiving the same, and it is just a scam. Checking the senders bitcoin wallet we can see that it currently has a zero balance.
